About us.
Minituber.nl specializes in supplying high-quality, NAK PBTC-certified minitubers (G0) to seed potato growers, breeding companies, and trading houses. Our six popular potato varieties are grown in a state-of-the-art indoor vertical farm at the World Food Center (Ede/Wageningen) in the Netherlands and are shipped internationally.
We operate a pre-order system with a nine-month lead time and minimum order quantities between 1,000 and 50,000 minitubers per variety, allowing us to consistently deliver high-quality products to our customers.

Emiel Smits (agronomist, MSc Plant Sciences Wageningen University) began growing seed potatoes in an indoor farm in 2023. He subsequently developed a robust, innovative, and sustainable indoor farm system to supply the seed potato market with high-quality minitubers.
Products
Our minitubers are NAK certified and carry the PBTC quality mark . Their size varies between 20 and 25 millimeters. Furthermore, the tubers contain a high dry matter content. This makes them robust and ensures good emergence, even in a wet spring. The tubers are also uniform in size, which benefits growth, the plants, and the final yield.
